I am Shiri Hershkovitz Bartur, a goldsmith and jewelry designer with over 15 years of experience, blending traditional techniques with innovative technology to create jewelry that is both timeless and groundbreaking. An early adopter of new technologies, I continuously experiment, refine, and seek sustainable approaches to craftsmanship, ensuring each piece is not just beautiful but also meaningful and responsible.
Illuminature Jewelry is a reflection of my passion for asymmetry, organic forms, and the quiet energy that nature holds. My work is inspired by the fluid elegance of the natural world, translating its beauty into handmade designs that celebrate imperfection and movement. As an interdisciplinary artist, I push the boundaries of goldsmithing, 3D printing, electroplating, casting with organic materials, and embedding light into jewelry, always exploring new ways to infuse magic into every piece.

Illuminature Jewelry is one of the branches of Illuminature Ventures B.V., based in the Netherlands. While my focus at Illuminature Jewelry is on creating bespoke, nature-inspired jewelry, this is part of a broader vision. One of Illuminature Ventures’s key goals is to promote knowledge and best practices in facilitating mycelium and other biomaterials as materials of the future, with a focus on sustainability and the circular economy agenda. Through my jewelry, I aim to merge traditional craftsmanship with these innovative materials, creating pieces that connect deeply with the wearer and the natural world.
